Guidelines for Authors

  1. The manuscript must be submitted in Russian and typed in MS Word using Times New Roman font, size 14, with 1.5 line spacing. Margins should be: top – 2.0 cm; bottom – 2.0 cm; left – 3.0 cm; right – 2.0 cm. All pages, starting from the title page, must be consecutively numbered.

  2. The length of a full original article should be 15–20 pages; a review article — no more than 30 pages; a case‑report or clinical observation — no more than 10 pages.

  3. The manuscript must include the following elements: UDC, abstract (summary in three languages); initials and surnames of the author(s); title; authors’ affiliations; introduction (relevance); aim of the study; main body; conclusions; and the reference list. The main body of an original article should contain sections: “Materials and Methods,” “Results,” “Discussion.”

  4. It is also required to provide information about sources of sponsorship (grants, equipment, drugs), declare absence of conflict of interest, and include correspondence address.

  5. In author information, include surnames, given names, patronymics, academic degrees and titles, positions, affiliation (institution and its division), and the following identifiers: Researcher ID (WoS), Scopus ID, ORCID (mandatory!), SPIN (RINC), Author ID (RINC).

  6. In the abstract (summary) of an original scientific article, the following sections **must** be identified: “Aim,” “Materials and Methods,” “Results,” “Conclusion,” and **Key Words**. The abstract should also be provided in Tajik and English (250–300 words). Abstracts for short communications, reviews, or case reports are not structured and should contain at least 150 words.

  7. Only accepted symbols and abbreviations should be used. If a phrase is used frequently in the text, it may be abbreviated, but at first mention the full form must be given in parentheses. Abbreviations in the title are allowed only in exceptional cases. All physical quantities must be expressed in SI units. Only international nonproprietary names of drugs are allowed.

  8. The list of references must follow the Vancouver style (https://www.imperial.ac.uk/media/imperial-college/administration-and-support-services/library/public/vancouver.pdf).

It is also required to provide the list of references in English transliteration example transliteration document.

Important: Reference numbering is according to the order of citation in the text, not alphabetically. Reference numbers are given in square brackets (for example: [1, 2], or [1–4], or [3, 5–8]).

In original articles, it is recommended to cite at least 15 and no more than 30 sources; in review articles — no more than 50. Citations to abstracts, theses, proceedings, teaching-methodical works are not allowed. Normative documents should be cited in footnotes, not included in the reference list. The authors are fully responsible for the correctness, completeness, and accuracy of all citations.

  9. Tables must be placed in the text immediately after referencing them, be numbered, include a title, and, if needed, footnotes. Tables should be typed in Microsoft Word (2007 or later).

  10. Illustrative material (photographs, figures, drawings, charts) must be clear and high‑contrast, numbered in the order they are cited in the text. Charts should be provided both in embedded form and as separate Excel files. Captions to micrographs should specify staining method and magnification. Electronic versions of images must be submitted as separate TIFF or JPEG files with at least 300 dpi resolution and linear size no less than 80×80 mm (≈1000×1000 pixels).
